Monta Ellis faces sex-related following legal cases from former Warriors employee

In a prepared report released Thursday, Warriors’ chief executive and primary managing specialist John Welts problematic Smith’s statements.

“When we were created alert to a consensual connection between Mr. Ellis and the Complaintant, we did what an company should do. We told both to stop — quickly, immediately and fairly. The Enthusiast have never taken action against the Complaintant for any incorrect reason, and we reject the suggestions she is making.”

Smith, who has also proved helpful for the Oregon Magicians and Arizona Team, said coming forward was difficult because, “I realized that primarily my career is over.
