Salma Hayek to Be Knighted in France

Celebrity Salma Hayek has been selected by the French government to be granted with a National Order of the Hord of Complete with the standard of Chevalier, or "Knight,".

Hayek was selected by French President  Nicolas Sarkozy to receive the honor and will be given the honor -- the best in the Hord of Complete -- sometime in the next two months at the Elysee Development in Paris, a source informed people magazine.

The custom was established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802 to honor excellent army and civilian conduct.

Joining Hayek will be Francois Pinault, her abundant magnate father-in-law, who has also been granted the same honor.

British magazine The (London) Daily Send revealed that some in This particular language have charged Sarkozy of using the prizes as a governmental move in advance of presidential elections. The magazine also outlined that Hayek's man, Francois-Henri Pinault, is acquaintances with Sarkozy.

Former French Budget reverend Henri Torre was also selected, but he rejected to take the honor because "too many individuals were selected who do not are entitled to to be recognized," Torre informed French magazine Marianne.
