Santorum cancels activities after recognizing child to hospital

Rick Santorum's three-year-old child Isabella, who has a genetic situation known as Trisomy 18, was said to a Philadelphia hospital Weekend.


In a report, Santorum spokesperson Hogan Gidley said the GOP presidential selection and former Pennsylvania senator would eliminate promotion events on Sunday day.


"Rick and his spouse Karen are recognizing their child  Bella to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia  this evening," Gidley said. "The promotion will eliminate Rick's future Weekend day Florida promotion program. However, Rick plans to return to Florida and application the promotion program as soon as is possible."


Santorum had been scheduled to appear on NBC's "Meet the Press," as well as make a stop at Master God Worldwide Ministry in Las vegas. Santorum has been campaigning in Florida ahead of the state primary on Tuesday.


Trisomy 18 is due to extra material from chromosome 18, and is three times more common in girls than young children. Santorum represents feeling furious after physicians informed him and his spouse to prepare for Bella's loss of life in the first times of her life.
