Black Friday shoppers attracted to, rebates distributed and called great sales for many retailers. But the biggest buyer is not over. Cyber Monday deals yet to come - and this is the day when the big retail chains Amazon.com expected to shine
Seattle-based company, which is involved in a large, but for a limited time holiday occasions last week, could be ready to do everything possible to attract online shoppers Cyber Monday.
"Keep an eye because it will match almost all the clothes," said Dan de Grandpre, CEO of dealnews.com, a Web site that tracks sales at major retailers across the country
Last year, Amazon said it sold more items on Cyber Monday - a record 158 points per second - than any other day of the year. This year, the company unveiled some of their Cyber Monday deals through a press release. These include a 250 GB game console Xbox 360 games and holiday package for $ 199 retail price than any other seems to be matched. Walmart offers the same package for $ 299, Best Buy offers the console, refurbished for $ 249.
Another agreement Amazonia: a Mercer Cutlery Genesis 6 parts Knife Set in a block of glass of $ 99, minimum $ 20 less than competing retailers. Amazon is sure to offer more.
"What do you order online, Amazon is more accurate than [other retailers] because it is their main product," says Michael Brim founder of BFAds.net, a website that follows Black Friday deals. "Wal-Mart, sometimes a pick-up is not necessarily guaranteed, even if you order online. Amazon is generally more likely to have a ball, the less chance of line-items to the end."
Case in point: At some point, Cyber Monday, Amazon is offering the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V 10.2 Megapixel Digital Camera $ 199, $ 20 less than the lowest price from any store with Google Product Search. Wal-Mart really sell online $ 10 cheaper, but is not available at this time.
And if you're in the market for certain products, Amazon is certainly interesting to see on Monday.
"Absolutely books and video games and computer games and all that, Amazon is the market leader," said Max Levitte to Cheapism.com, a lot of online sites. "In electronics, in general, the Amazon is better, because they have a wider selection."
