The singer and rapper Nicki Minaj has been named Billboard 2011 Rising Star on Wednesday, after his international success this year for his album "Pink Friday."
Minaj, 28, who has a contract with Lil Wayne Young Money Entertainment, has had the opportunity of the announcement of the bill to confirm his next album on Twitter.
