Gas rates develop their drop

Gas rates have decreased over the last two months, carrying on their move despite an increase in raw oil rates, according to a study released On Sunday.
The normal cost of normal energy is $3.29 a quart, the Lundberg Survey found.
That's down 9 dollars from two months previously, and down a complete of 18 dollars over the last six months, said manager Trilby Lundberg.
While raw oil rates increased $3.55 a gun barrel over the last two months, gas rates dropped due to "shrinkage in the income of the downstream part of the oil market -- that is, refiners and suppliers," Lundberg said. "They were incapable to complete through the greater oil rates because United states motorists' need for energy constantly contract due to hard economic circumstances."
However, it's unlikely rates will keep falling, Lundberg said., because refiners and suppliers "will not be able to maintain cuts on and on."
"It will all rely on what raw oil does," she included.
The newest normal gas cost is 38 dollars greater than it was a year ago.
The Lundberg Survey tallies rates at a large number of gas areas national.
The metropolis with the smallest normal cost in the newest study was Albuquerque, New Southern america, at $2.84. The best normal was in San Francisco, at $3.67.
Here are normal rates in some other cities:
-Charleston, Southern Carolina - $3.08
-Houston - $3.09
-Atlanta - $3.22
-Denver - $3.23
-Boston - $3.39
-Chicago - $3.48
-Seattle - $3.56
-Tucson, Az - $3.04
