36-foot long whale shark carcass taken to town conceal

KARACHI: A 36-foot-long whale shark was on Tuesday day taken to the Karachi Kinds of fish Harbor by regional anglers who stated to have discovered it deceased in the start sea though some professionals considered that the shark might have been murdered after it got tangled in a net.


The women fish is around 7,000 weight, according to professionals.

The whale shark was taken out of the route with the help of two cranes amongst rapturous applause by thousands of viewers.


“I have purchased the fish, which usually has no considerable professional value, with the help of my associates just to appreciate the initiatives of the anglers who are entitled to some compensate after investing an whole day in the start sea,” said Haji Qasim, who said he purchased the catch Rs200,000.


The government bodies, he said, had permitted him to keep the fish at the harbour for at least three times for community looking at. “Then I will provide the meat to the individuals managing chicken food enterprise,” he said.

The fish, he said, was regularly discovered in the pre-Independence interval and a variety of sources to the species were discovered in old documents.


He outlined the need for developing attention about the conservation of whale sharks, which were known as ‘giant not guilty fish’ with no professional relevance for anglers.


Known to be a slow-moving plankton-eating shark, the whale shark is the biggest existing types fish. The definitely noticeable fish is the only associate of its genus Rhincodon and its category of Rhincodontidae.
