AnnaSophia Robb Cast In 'Sex And The City' Prequel

The new Carrie Bradshaw  has been cast.


AnnaSophia Robb, the celebrity of 2011 psychological film "Soul Surfer" will perform a youthful edition of the legendary tv and novel personality in a pilot for The CW, a rep for the system verified to Access Hollywood  on Monday.

Stefania Owen, the girl from the now-canceled FOX funny "Running Wilde," will perform Carrie's little sibling, Dorrit, 14.


The story will concentrate on a high-school outdated Carrie, following the loss of lifestyle of her mom, as she is brought up by her dad in Burglary.


The system requested a pilot for "The Carrie Diaries" (based on the publication sequence from Candace Bushnell), which The CW first verified in Jan.


It was not obvious if - or when -- the new display would function Carrie's later-in-life "Sex and The City" best associates, such as Samantha Jones, who was presented in "Summer and the City: A June Journal Novel," or Miranda Hobbes, who was also in the publication, which was launched in April 2011.
